I'm going on a trip...

...to Washington D.C. It'll be the week of the 23rd, from that Tuesday until Sunday. I don't know if my hotel will have wireless access or not, but if it does, you will still hear from me, if not, I'll be silent that week.

On this trip, I have the chance to go to the Pentagon and an Army training base. And apparently I'll be able to meet a few people of relatively high government ranking. So, I thought I would take the opportunity to see if anybody has questions they would like me to ask somebody in charge, questions that are NOT GOING TO GET ME THROWN VIOLENTLY OUT OF THE PENTAGON AND CAUSE THE FBI, CIA, AND NSA TO START A FILE ON ME.

Though I suspect that somewhere, there already is a file started on me.

Can you ask them why the pentagon is pentagon shaped?
Because, see, in a Murderous Maths book I read once, it gave a story about it.
Condensed version: Pentagon's don't tesselate, so say if it was a hexagon, not a pentagon, and aliens invaded and tried to place a bunch of hexagons around it, we wouldn't be able to tell which was the real Hexagon. But pentagons don't tesselate, so it would foil the aliens plans.
It sounds pretty weird, so i was wondering if there was any truth in it.
